We are currently looking for a Waiter (or as we like to call it Chef de Rang) who takes pride in delivering a personalised, flawless dining experience behind every door. 

What You'll Do 

As Chef de Rang In-Room Dining at De L'Europe Amsterdam, you are the personal host of every guest, just on a more intimate stage. You are the first voice our guests hear when they pick up the phone to place their order, and the warm, professional face that delivers it to their door. You take orders with confidence and care, guide guests through our dedicated In-Room Dining menu and make personalised recommendations that turn a simple meal into a memorable moment. You ensure every tray leaves the kitchen flawlessly presented and arrives at the room exactly as it should; on time, complete and beautifully executed. Working closely with the kitchen team, you coordinate seamlessly to guarantee a smooth and efficient service around the clock. Whether it is a late-night snack or an elaborate breakfast for two, you bring the full De L'Europe experience directly to our guests. 

Who You Are 

• Experienced waiter with a background in various dining settings  

• Passionate about hospitality and connecting with people  

• Flexible and available for varying shifts, including evenings, nights and weekends 

• Quick to adapt and remain effective in a dynamic and ever-changing environment  

• Enthusiastic about sharing your knowledge with colleagues  

• Positive, dynamic team player with a keen attention to detail  

• Excellent communication skills for quick and effective coordination  

• Always ready with a smile and solutions for any challenges that may arise. 

Nice to Have 

• Experience in In-Room Dining or luxury hotel service  

• Passion for food, wine and creating personalised guest experiences  

• Experience in training or mentoring junior colleagues.
