Assistant Restaurant Manager - Restaurant Flore
- On-site
- Restaurant Flore
Job description
About us
Nestled within De L’Europe Amsterdam, Flore is one of the Netherlands’ most celebrated fine dining destinations, the proud holder of two Michelin stars and a Michelin Green Star for our commitment to sustainable gastronomy. At Flore, every dish tells a story: one of exceptional ingredients, deep craftsmanship, and a profound respect for nature and the seasons. Our cuisine is rooted in sustainability without compromise, where flavour and conscience go hand in hand. We don’t just set the table; we create an experience that stays with our guests long after the last course. As we continue to push the boundaries of fine dining in Amsterdam, we are looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager who shares our passion, upholds our standards, and helps lead our team to deliver something truly extraordinary, every single service.
What you’ll do
As Assistant Restaurant Manager of Flore, you are the right hand of the Restaurant Manager and a key figure in delivering the two-Michelin-star and Green Star experience our guests expect. You co-lead the service team with precision, warmth and an unwavering eye for detail ensuring every guest interaction reflects the standard of excellence Flore stands for.
You lead and inspire the front-of-house team during every service, setting the tone through your presence and professionalism. You spot commercial opportunities and drive continuous improvement, while onboarding, training and coaching staff to the Michelin-level standards Flore demands. You ensure seamless communication between the kitchen and the floor, so every course lands exactly as intended. At every turn, you look for ways to exceed guest expectations and turn a great dinner into an unforgettable memory. You safeguard our Green Star values by embedding sustainability into daily operations, and you foster a working environment where professionalism, openness and team spirit go hand in hand.
