About Us

Embark on a journey into the world of hospitality at De L'Europe Amsterdam, where culinary excellence meets the diverse flavors of Amsterdam. Our hotel hosts a variety of culinary experiences, ranging from casual bites like bitterballen and a refreshing Heineken beer to elaborate six-course menus with exquisite wine pairings. Currently, we are seeking a Waiter for our In-Room Dining, Events, and Lounge departments. We are looking for someone who not only excels in providing outstanding hospitality but also thrives in an environment filled with collaboration and a commitment to exceptional service.

What You'll Do

Extend a warm welcome to guests and take their orders | Provide detailed explanations about menu and beverage options | Offer recommendations based on guests' preferences for both food and drinks | Collaborate closely with the kitchen team, events team, and lounge staff | Ensure smooth and effective execution of your tasks across different service areas | Share your knowledge with the broader team | Report to the respective department manager.

Who You Are

Experienced waiter with a background in various dining settings | Passionate about hospitality and connecting with people | Privately, you take excellent care of your friends and bring the finest selections to celebrate special occasions | Quick to adapt and remain effective in a dynamic and ever-changing environment | Enthusiastic about sharing your knowledge with colleagues | Positive, dynamic team player with a keen attention to detail | Excellent communication skills for quick and effective coordination | Always ready with a smile and solutions for any challenges that may arise.

Nice to Have

Passion for luxury hospitality | Experience in training and mentoring junior staff | Previous experience in a restaurant with fine dining or a high-end lounge.
